In February 2025, Finnish confectionery company Fazer expanded its ‘Taste the Future’ line by introducing new cocoa-free candy tablets. Building upon positive feedback from a 2023 pilot, these limited-edition treats are crafted from malted Finnish grains—specifically oats and rye—and come in two flavors: Red Berries and Mint Croquant. The Red Berries variant is vegan-friendly, featuring dried cranberries and raspberries, while Mint Croquant includes mint-flavored almond croquant. Available in select locations in Finland and Sweden, the packaging incorporates QR codes to gather consumer feedback, aligning with Fazer’s commitment to sustainable and innovative confectionery solutions.
